About Us
The environment we live in has certainly changed over the years and for many teens today, not for the good. The number of young people affected by broken homes, physical, sexual, and mental abuse is on the rise and current economic conditions are not helping matters. With few alternatives many young people turn to gangs, drugs, and crime but it doesn't have to be that way. Fortunately, there are a number of organizations in Arizona that are working with young people, helping them see hope in the future, overcome the situation they are in, and move forward to a productive and joyful life.
Good Leaven Ministries is organized to serve teens and young adults, especially those in crisis and recovery in community with other Christian organizations. Our goal is to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ by providing the services and assistance needed by these young people. Our ministry is working to provide lodging, meals, clothing, and other necessities through Arizona Christian Youth Camp, and providing Christ-centered leadership and life skills training as well as services that assist their transition back to normal life (counseling, job training, education, tattoo removal, etc.) through GLM Community Services.
The future of America is in its youth. Most Christians come to know the Lord before the age of 20 and it is with this in mind that Good Leaven Ministries desires to be the hands and feet of Christ by assisting the young people in Arizona and reaching them with the good news of Jesus Christ. This is an exciting time and we want you to be a part of it. Not only do we need prayer and financial support but we need your experience and suggestions as well.
Working together with other programs already being run by churches and organizations we can be a blessing to the young people of Arizona.
